Tour de Gastown
Last night was the Tour de Gastown, through the cobblestoned roads just of the edge of the city. Gastown is sandwiched right next to Bumville, BC so make sure you don’t wander one street to far. Last night was the 60k mens crit race, past winners include Lance Armstrong back in 1991. The 2006 event was won by an Australian riding for the American Navigators team. Our good mate Scott Malone was racing. Unfortunately, Scott was taken off the course before the end getting lapped. However, the three breakaway riders lapped the whole field!!!(1.2k lap) so he shouldn’t feel to bad.
